    Police control room

Police Control Rooms, set up in all districts and Commissionerate areas, operate round the clock. Besides other telephone numbers, these Police Control Rooms, have the general telephone number 100 constantly functioning there. This telephone service is free of charge. It is assured that immediate cognizance will be taken of all calls received on this telephone number.

If it is not possible to contact on telephone Number 100, the Control Room Officer/Assistant Commissioner of Police can be contacted on telephone numbers 2267 3887, 2262 3054 and 2262 1855 for Greater Mumbai.

In case of any crime, accident or in an emergency in which urgent police help is needed, the police control room should be contacted immediately so that the control room can inform the police station concerned which will in turn arrange to send the mobile wireless patrol van to the site of the incident.
